Hungarian converter Szuperprint installs Nuova Gidue M5

Szuperprint, a label converter based in Hungary, has installed a Nuova Gidue M5 press with a 370mm web width.

The fully servo press with driven impression chilled drums and short web path, is equipped with seven UV flexo print units, and IR-Hot Air cassettes on additional chilled drums to dry water-based inks on unsupported films. The press also displays accessories to print on adhesive up to four colors, and to move cold foil printing on each print unit on a movable rail.

Mr Bögös, managing director of Szuperprint, commented: ‘We are highly impressed by the wide range of printable substrates starting from normal self-adhesive paper stock via unsupported thin BOPP film up to sophisticated shrink sleeve materials. The set-up of the press can be made in really short time so we can process ultra short jobs as well. Some of our printers had earlier good experiences on Gidue’s former Combat presses, so the learning process on the new M5 was quick and efficient.”

The sale and installation of the press was performed by Gidue’s exclusive distributor in Hungary since 2001, Hoffmann KFT.

Giorgio Deliziosi, Nuova Gidue sales manager, said: ‘We confirm our established sales and service presence in the Eastern European countries. Our focus is on growing and innovative companies like Szuperprint who can take full advantage of our quality and innovative technologies.’
