Students at La Crescent High and Middle School are taking on another lesson in the print industry. This is possible with the support of a packaging supplier, Inland Packaging.

Inland presented Mark Moulton, a STEM teacher at La Crescent High School, with a check. This was used to purchase a new VersaStudio Printer, which is sought out to bolster La Crescent's initiatives in augmenting its technical education and business department. The reimagining of these departments will facilitate students in creating career pathways through the courses offered.

Moulton shared, 'The printer has been an exceptional addition to our STEM classes and our trade and industry program. It has enabled students to explore graphic design, marketing and printable labels. They're thrilled working with the printer and are brimming with ideas to use it more intensively in the future.'

The new VersaStudio printer is employed by the tech ed and business students for managing new classroom projects. This tool allows students to conceptualize and manage their own brand and fabricate products that could potentially be sold for school promotion.
