Inkmaker reopens its Italian factory

Inkmaker, which could have stayed open due to its involvement with essential industries such as food and pharmaceutical packaging, decided to close its factory for a short period of time to evaluate and prepare the measures to be undertaken to guarantee a safe working environment for its team and suppliers.

‘I speak for the board when I say, we are extremely proud to see the speed in which the Inkmaker team calmly came together in creating and activating an emergency plan; from different parts of the world, to ensure that when we reopen, it will be a safe environment to do so. With Inkmaker Shanghai now open too, we are confident we are back to “business as usual”,’ said Christophe Rizzo, CEO of Inkmaker EMEA and Americas.

The new measures saw a revision to the layout and workflow, of the Inkmaker plant in the Northern Italy, ensuring the health and safety of all the team and suppliers involved in production. The company has also calculated and arranged all personal protective equipment PPE required in order to be distributed on time from Inkmaker base in Shanghai.
