abelexpo Global Series has confirmed new dates for two of its shows in the Americas

Labelexpo Americas 2021, previously scheduled to take place from March 23-25, is moving back three months to June 8-10. The rescheduled show remains at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, US.

The inaugural Labelexpo Mexico, scheduled to take place from June 23-25, 2021, will now take place between April 26-28, 2023 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

Moreover, the annual Label Summit Latin America will return in 2022. Further details will be confirmed in due course.

‘The impact of the ongoing Covid-19 situation has been far-reaching across the Americas and, given the vast amount of preparation that goes into our shows, changing the dates are not decisions we take lightly,’ said Tasha Ventimiglia, Labelexpo’s event director for the Americas. ‘However, the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and staff must, as before, remain our top priority.

‘Taking into consideration our wider show portfolio, postponing Labelexpo Americas 2021 by three months to June, and moving Labelexpo Mexico back to 2023, will allow us to plan and deliver the safest, most successful events possible.

‘Throughout this pandemic, the label and package printing industry has continued to be an essential business. We know how vitally important Labelexpo Americas is for triggering business between converters and manufacturers and advancing the domestic market in North America. This much-needed show next year will play a vital role in the recovery of the region’s label and package printing industry and its supply chain post-Covid-19.

‘We are fully committed to delivering safe and successful events across the Americas in 2021 and beyond, and will continue to follow all local government advice, as well as that of the CDC, World Health Organization and our partners.’

Health and safety measures being implemented at Labelexpo Americas 2021 will include floor aisles increased to 15 feet, allowing for social distancing, enhanced cleaning routines, clear venue signage, and revised registration areas. More details are available in the Trust Labelexpo: Opening Labelexpo Americas safely document.

‘I’d like to thank all our Labelexpo exhibitors and local partners for their continued understanding during these last few months. I urge everyone involved in the label and package printing industry across the Americas to embrace the opportunity to help our community plan for the future by taking part in our shows in the US, Mexico and the wider region,’ concluded Ventimiglia.
