Loparex Germany certified by EcoVadis

Loparex, a global producer of release liners and engineered films, has received a silver certification from EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, for its production site in Forchheim, Germany.

The EcoVadis Sustainability Scorecard measures how effectively companies integrate CSR principles into business and management systems using 21 indicators in four key areas: environment, labor practices and human rights, fair business practices, and sustainable procurement. 

In its first-ever assessment, Loparex’s largest manufacturing location has been placed in the top 20 percent of the more than 90,000 companies rated by EcoVadis since its inception in 2007.

Strengths highlighted at the Forchheim site plant include comprehensive CSR policies, extensive health and safety programs, regular supplier assessments, and the proactive training of employees in a variety of conservation topics. 

‘This certification acknowledges our successes in advancing equitable and responsible business practices at Loparex and will guide further improvements in Forchheim and beyond,’ said Charmaine Riggins, CEO of Loparex. ‘It also underlines our commitment to providing partners and customers with greater transparency into our operations. Additional assessments are already underway, and we aim to ultimately provide Scorecards for each of our global manufacturing sites as part of our Environmental Social Governance roadmap.’
