Sandon Global partners with Marvaco

Sandon Global has signed a strategic partnership with Marvaco

British manufacturer Sandon Global has signed a strategic partnership with Marvaco to represent the full range of its anilox and coating rollers in Sweden and Norway.

Marvaco is one of the leading Nordic packaging pre-press specialists serving the Swedish and Norwegian flexographic print markets. It has experience in sales and technical support for anilox rollers and has worked with Sandon Global in partnership with Soma flexo presses. Sandon Global’s anilox technology can also be used to print a new type of Ultra HD screening in conjunction with Marvaco’s EGP, the expanded gamut technology.

‘Sandon Global is the perfect fit for our business,’ commented Jan Viberg, country manager at Marvaco Sweeden. ‘Its reputation for product quality and durability is very strong in the market, which is backed up with a long history of product development, innovation, and reliable global delivery. We have first-hand experience of its ability to improve print quality and make flexographic printing more sustainable by using a reduced amount of ink. Prints with Sandon Global aniloxes have been awarded several times in printing competitions for flexible packaging, labels, corrugated board, envelopes and offset printing.’

Sandon Global’s technical director, Stuart Mitchell, added: ‘We see that innovative and technically skilled partners are able to drive the development of print for packaging. This partnership will undoubtedly benefit our combined customer base and I look forward to working closely with Marvaco.’

‘We have long and extensive experience with various packaging printing segments. Sandon Global, as a high-quality global player, can meet the print quality and environmental goals in accordance with our goals,’ concluded Viberg.
