VPF mourns Dr Rainer Rauberger

Dr Rainer Rauberger

Dr Rainer Rauberger, who joined the VPF paper and film converting company as sales manager three years ago, has died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 49.

In his role as sales manager, Dr Rainer Rauberger was a driving force who accomplished many things that VPF will continue to profit from in the future. Highly engaged, he played a successful part in implementing the company’s strategy and was very much appreciated by customers and colleagues alike. His many years of industrial experience and profound knowledge of adhesives made him a sought-after consultant who offered solid advice. He gained an excellent reputation in the labeling and adhesives industry.

‘His commitment, attention to detail in so many different areas and his unquenchable thirst for knowledge were simply unique. We will sorely miss him, his humor and the deep conversations that frequently went beyond purely work topics,’ said VPF managing director Ralf Waltmann.

The company extends its deep sympathy especially to his young family. Dr Rainer Rauberger leaves a wife and a 12-year-old son.
