Phil Walmsley, managing director for Waldo, commented: ‘We are delighted to offer Bellissima to our customers. Interest has started to build around the benefits of its use from flexo printers; we're receiving interest from printers looking to reduce production costs while also delivering improved print quality. In addition, brand owners are also pushing for the technology as a solution to replace gravure print.

‘We have been impressed with the production jobs that we've seen from around the globe. Bellissima exceeds the normal flexo print standards and demonstrates that flexo is capable of replacing gravure without compromise. We look to support our customers in ways that will allow them to reduce costs and win new business. Bellissima fits into our technology offering and will help us to continually meet customer needs while achieving fantastic print results for the brands that they supply.’

Danielle Kinsella, marketing director for Hamillroad, commented: ‘Adding Waldo as our UK Bellissima Network Member is a milestone moment for Hamillroad – they are a great fit for the network, and we share common goals in our vision for the future of flexo. We're excited to start working with Phil and his team to bring products printed using Bellissima to supermarket shelves.

‘Brand owners and converters are actively looking to replace gravure printing with flexo while optimizing print production for economic and environmental benefits. We are working on numerous such projects around the globe which will require the use of Bellissima – please get in touch with Waldo to get Bellissima-ready.’
