Flint Group retains EcoVadis Gold for second year
Ink manufacturer improves overall score to place in the top 4 percent of the printing industry.
Flint Group has retained its EcoVadis Gold Medal for 2026, scoring 79 out of 100 and placing in the 95th percentile among companies assessed in the printing industry, up from a score of 76 in 2025.
The improvement was driven in part by gains in sustainable procurement and ethics, both of which rose from 74 and 71, respectively, to 83. Flint Group also achieved a Leader level rating in the 2026 EcoVadis Carbon Scorecard, with the assessment body describing it as a company with a strong greenhouse gas management system and best-in-class decarbonization commitments.
'Retaining Gold for a second year, with an improved overall score, reflects genuine progress across our sustainability program,' said Heiner Klokkers, CEO and president of packaging inks Europe at Flint Group. 'The gains in sustainable procurement and ethics are particularly significant, since both require a consistent, cross-functional effort.'
Flint Group's sustainability strategy is guided by its Prism framework, centered on product, planet and people, with targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across its operations.
'Results like this don't happen in isolation,' added Klokkers. 'They are the product of dedicated work across the business, with every single person playing their part.'
