Pulse Roll Label Products celebrates with Queen’s Award ceremony
Narrow web ink and varnish manufacturer Pulse Roll Label Products was presented with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise by Dame Janet Trotter, Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, on September 16 at its Yate-based factory in Bristol.

The award was granted in recognition of ‘outstanding’ growth in overseas earnings over a three year period. Attended by all members of staff and representatives from the local business community, the company was presented with its Symbol and Scroll for the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in International Trade 2015.
After thanking Dame Janet, Gary Seward, managing director of Pulse Roll Label Products, said: ‘We are honored and delighted to celebrate this prestigious award and I want to thank all our employees who each play a significant and valuable part in our achievements both at home and abroad.’
Seward went on to recognize the importance of international trade to the growth of the business, saying: ‘As a specialist producer of printing inks and varnishes serving the global consumer packaging and label markets, we acknowledge that our continued success and future also depends on our ability to expand our international presence alongside growing our domestic UK business. We have many exciting opportunities for growth ahead and I am confident that this success will continue.’
A short tour of the company’s facility took place prior to the presentation and a buffet lunch was served for staff and visitors afterwards. Gary Seward also presented Neil Milkins, senior production assistant, with a pewter tankard to mark 10 years of service with the company.
The Queen’s Award presentation followed a reception held on July 14 at Buckingham Palace when Gary Seward met Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, HRH Prince Philip and other members of the Royal Family.
