Stahl introduces Sensora haptic coatings
Visitors to Stahl stand at Loupe Americas 2026 can experience the Sensora portfolio first-hand.
Stahl, a provider of speciality coatings for flexible materials, has introduced its expanded Sensora portfolio, a range of high-performance haptic coatings designed to help brands create distinctive tactile packaging experiences.
In today’s competitive marketplace, packaging must do more than attract attention on shelf. It must create memorable experiences that engage consumers through both visual appeal and touch. Sensora enables packaging to become a multisensory journey through touch, adding tactile finishes from soft and velvety to smooth, silky, rubbery and textured.
Developed for paper and board, narrow web and flexible packaging, Sensora is suitable for a broad range of food and non-food applications, including folding cartons, labels, flexible food packaging, cosmetics, technology products and luxury goods.
‘With Sensora, Stahl is enabling brands to unlock the strategic value of touch in packaging,’ said Paul Grzebielucha, group director packaging coatings at Stahl. ‘By combining tactile differentiation with proven coating performance, Sensora supports our customers in creating premium, memorable packaging experiences that enhance consumer engagement and strengthen brand identity.’
The range includes water-based and energy-curable technologies that deliver matte, soft-feel and other haptic finishes while supporting stringent safety and sustainability standards. Selected products offer food-contact-compliant options, such as FDA, Swiss Ordinance, German Ink Ordinance, ISEGA and EuPIA compliance.
Stahl will be present at Loupe Americas 2026, booth 727, where visitors can explore the Sensora portfolio first-hand and discover how its haptic coating technologies can help create differentiated packaging that appeals to the senses.
