Alliance Printech to launch new version of Novaflex

Priced between Rs 65 lakh (108,000 USD) to Rs 1 crore (167,000 USD), it is an all UV press with features such as variable speed in feed, top loading anilox and plate cylinders, shorter web path, quick and tool less fitting of anilox roll, print cylinder and ink tray, automatic controls through servo drives, PLC and HMI, etc. Other features include re-lam, de-lam, cold foil stamping, hot foil stamping, embossing, lamination, profile die-cutting, through die-cut, sheet output and duplex rewinding. The press can print on a range of substrates including paper, film and foils.

The company is expecting to sell two presses of this model – one each in India and Gulf, and has already booked an order from a printer in the Gulf region entering into the label printing business. 

Jatinder K. Julka, director of Alliance Printech, said: ‘The press has a top loading open access design. We will be displaying six units at the show floor. There will be two more units getting ready in the factory.’

In the current financial year, Alliance Printech installed an 8-color Novaflex at M/S Concept Labels & Packaging in Faridabad. The in-line press was launched at Labelexpo India 2012. 'Alliance Printech has sold 16 of these flexo presses since its debut at Labelexpo India 2012,' said Julka.

Alliance Printech recorded an annual turnover of Rs 3.25 crore (540,000 USD) in the last fiscal and is expecting to touch a mark of Rs 5 crore (835,000 USD) in 2014-15 financial year. The company has also started construction of its new plant in Faridabad which will be spread across an area of 15,000 sq ft. The new factory will be operational within six months.
