AMB invests in Bobst water-based flexo press

AMB is a family-owned company established over 50 years ago. It was one of the first packaging manufacturers to set up an entirely water-based converting facility in Europe.

The new press is expected to increase printed output by 150 percent and joins another 8-color flexo press at the company’s facility in San Daniele del Friuli, near Udine, Italy. At 600 m/min, it is one of the fastest water-based film printing central impression (CI) flexo presses. It also comes with a host of innovative features that will help AMB maximize process consistency, deliver quality and respond to demands for shorter lead times.
