AVT sells Helios to Dutta Press at Labelexpo India 2016

AVT has sold a Helios automatic inspection system to Dutta Press in Noida on the second day of Labelexpo India, which is optimized for tough inspection challenges including variable data printing and holograms.

Itzick Barazani, sales and marketing director at AVT described India as a ‘challenging and interesting’ market for the high end inspection systems manufacturer.

‘Compared to the huge population, the number of high end printers is small, but we have been seeing growth in the last couple of years in Western machines and ancillary equipment. Companies are now ready to invest in better workflows and high quality inspection and reporting.’

Manish Mehta, managing director at AVT’s India agency Reifenhauser said he had seen ‘excellent and great momentum’ at the show. ‘People are looking at high tech with good ROI.’
