‘Despite the international economic situation, our work has grown a lot and the new Lemorau machine is producing at full speed since the first day after installation,’ commented Gianluca Fabbri, owner of Etichettificio Felsineo. ‘The new machine is complete with flexo UV unit, corona and cold foil and we are using it for finishing labels printed by inkjet and laser digital presses.

‘We also have another MEBR+ which is dedicated to converting of blank and pre-printed labels. We are very impressed with the performance and reliability of our both Lemorau machines.’

The Lemorau MEBR+ is a digital finishing machine developed in a modular concept for its flexibility of configurations and the possibility of adding modules according to customer needs.

For Ethichettificio Felsineo, the Lemorau MERB+ has been manufactured in a 330mm (13in) web width and is equipped with the optional rotary UV flexo module, a lamination station with two rewinders (with liner) and air trim removal. It has been designed with extra space and support on the flexo unit for the future corona treatment station integration. The lamination unit was also altered for dual usage: lamination and cold foil.

As standard, the MEBR+ is available in 250, 330, 400mm (10, 13, 15,7in) and includes an electronic web guide system with ultrasonic sensor, automatic web tension system controlled by servo motors, deflaction function for existing flexible dies, paper and matrix break detection, 250 job memory and automatic stop at master roll end with programmable end of roll function.

The first MEBR+ acquired by Etichettificio Felsineo was originally a Lemorau Digi EBR+ that was modified and upgraded. The company is also operating a Lemorau ER400 roll lifter.
