Etiqroll installs Nanovis tool cleaning system

French label printer CGP Etiqroll has installed a Nanovis Nanocleaner NWC-1200 tool cleaning system as it looks improve productivity and enhance its environmental credentials.

Nanovis Nanocleaner NWC-1200

The Nanocleaner NWC-1200 is a system for cleaning dirty printing tools created in the narrow web flexographic printing process. It uses a cleaning agent free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and that is fully recyclable.

This saves time, lowers operational costs and eliminates disposal requirements, according to Nanovis, and also presents substantial environmental benefits and worker protection

The NWC family includes three models, the 600, 800 and 1200. The NWC series was first introduced at Labelexpo Europe 2011, with the latest generation to be demonstrated at Labelexpo Europe 2013.

Nanovis has also named on the shortlist for the Award for Sustainability at the Label Industry Global Awards, which will be presented at a ceremony on the first night on Labelexpo Europe 2013.

The unit installed at France’s CGP Etiqroll is the second unit of the new NWC-1200, the largest Nanocleaner, to be delivered, and the first outside Nanovis’ homeland of Switzerland. A third model is being shipped to Russia shortly.

Marcelo Parra, production manager at CGP Etiqroll, said: ‘The Nanocleaner NWC-1200 is among other objectives of the industrial policy of the CGP company Etiqroll; improving productivity through its capacity and speed of cleaning, the respect towards the environment by avoiding  harmful emissions to nature, and especially the protection of our operators because no vapor diffusion in our premises.’
