Gybäck Flexografi invests in Comexi kit

Swedish packaging printer Gybäck Flexografi has made a double investment in Comexi equipment as it looks to strengthen its production of short and medium runs.

Gybäck Flexografi’s equipment portfolio includes an eight-color Windmöller & Hölscher Miraflex AM flexo press with a repeat width up to 1,100mm, with a second press to be installed later this year. It also operates slitting and rewinding machinery, including the new Comexi Enviroxi LCR anilox cleaning system and Comexi Proslit Compack2 slitter rewinder.

With the acquisition of the Enviroxi LCR anilox cleaning system for cylinders with laser technology, Comexi said Gybäck Flexografi has invested in a system that reduces the environmental impact of routine cleaning tasks of aniloxes, while improving productivity.

Anders Gybäck, president of Gybäck Flexografi, said: ‘The Comexi ENVIROXI LCR is an excellent complement to our printing systems because the cylinders return to their original state after each cleaning job, so we win in quality of work.’
