Macfarlane Labels opts for Nilpeter FA-line press

Macfarlane Labels, a Scottish specialist in self-adhesive and resealable labels, has invested in a Nilpeter FA-line 10-color press in response to the current and future demand of brand owners.

The newly installed press includes in-line foiling, lamination, 100 percent inspection capability and increases the converter’s production capacity for 10-color printed labels.

This purchase complements the recent additions of an HP digital press and a flexo press, a part of over GBP 700,000 (USD 890,000) investment Macfarlane Labels planned in response to the growing demand from major brand owners.

‘This significant investment for our label business in Kilmarnock is in response to increasing and changing demands from our customers and their consumers,’ commented Angela Campbell, resealable labels director at Macfarlane Labels. ‘This latest technology in printing, produces the highest label quality to ensure that our customers’ brands are perfectly presented. The press allows us to meet our customers’ ever changing needs and demands, led by innovative marketing trends,’ added Campbell.
