Niagara Label invests in Nilpeter FA-17

Niagara Label has acquired a new Nilpeter FA-17 to expand its embellishment capabilities and substrate range

Niagara Label of Buffalo, NY, has acquired a new Nilpeter FA-17 to expand its embellishment capabilities and substrate range.

Niagara Label is a mid-sized label manufacturer with over 33 years of experience, serving the Northeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions. The company has been operating Nilpeter’s FB-Line presses since the early 2000s.

‘The new FA expands our capacity and capabilities, which we expect will bring in new opportunities. Furthermore, it will help us remain competitive, especially with longer run jobs, and up against larger companies with wider presses,’ said Keith Hatswell, general manager at Niagara Label.

Nilpeter’s FA-Line is built around the print operator, with an intuitive user interface and fully mobile print controls. Furthermore, the FA-Line features a vertical auto-lock system, driven chill rollers, the latest generation Cleaninking system, multi-substrate printing, and more. The FA allows printers to enhance their press's performance with value-adding units, application and automation packages, according to needs and budget.

‘Having watched Niagara Label’s continued growth utilizing our Nilpeter FB-Line technology, we are confident the FA-17 automation and Quick-Change features will provide the efficiency needed to address their capacity issues and the flexibility to grow into new markets. Nilpeter is excited to be Niagara Label’s printing partner,’ commented Walt Mesik, senior sales consultant at Nilpeter USA.
