Richfield Labels installs BGM Elite eDSR
Specialist UK label printer Richfield Labels has installed an Elite eDSR finishing system from Bar Graphic Machinery which it is using to convert difficult, durable high-spec polyester substrates.

Richfield Labels has been manufacturing labels and tags at its factory in Reading since 1996, and has recently moved into much larger manufacturing facilities.
Simon Blackburn, Richfield Labels director, said: ‘Bar Graphic Machinery offered us exactly what we were looking for, laying on a live demonstration of some of our more challenging polyester materials being converted with ease. Other advantages that impressed us were the machine’s short web path, set up time and overall flexibility.’
Fellow UK label printer Labelaid has recently invested in an Elite eDSR.
Bar Graphic Machinery sales manager Daniel Carr said: ‘We are delighted that Richfield Labels has purchased one of our all new BGM Elite eDSR’s. This high speed easy load die-cutting slitting rewinder is fitted with BGM’s latest easy load die station that enables the operator to effortlessly load the dies into the machine, the weight of the die being supported by the bottom guide rail. This technique vastly improves operator set up and handling time and also reduces the risk of damage as a result of incorrect loading, a common occurrence in conventional die station loading situations. The robust die station accommodates most styles of dies, utilising customers’ existing dies and minimizing tooling costs.’
