Rotocon increases local support in South Africa

South Africa’s Rotocon has appointed William White as a service technician to increase local support and service to suppliers it represents in the country.

Rotocon is the South African agent for a number of printing equipment manufacturers, including MPS, Pantec GS Systems, Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) and Rotocontrol/LeoMat.

It has recently confirmed the sale of two Rotocontrol RSC slitter rewinders in the country. The two RSC configurations include a strobe light, advanced vertical vacuum splice table with integrated waste rewind, and the AVT Helios 100 percent inspection technology system.

A third RSC equipped with AVT and Domino modules for sequence numbering has also been successfully installed at a South African converter. White led this installation.

Patrick Aengenvoort, director of Rotocon, said: ‘It has been a successful year for Rotocon with all of the principals we represent including Rotocontrol, MPS, Pantec GS Systems and AVT.

‘With the addition of William White to our service team, we are well-positioned to locally support our customers. We look forward to meeting many of our customers and new South African printers at the Labelexpo Europe exhibition in Brussels this September.’
