Rotograf Varese installs Nuova Gidue M5
Italian converter Rotograf Varese has recently installed a new Master M5 with digital flexo technology.

Rotograf Varese specializes in the production of self-adhesive labels for the wine industry but, with the new Nuova Gidue press, is looking to enter the beverage packaging and reinforce its position in the general label market.
The press has a 370mm web width, seven UV flexo colors and automatic register adjustment. Other features include delame-relame, cold foiling and a combo coupon unit to produce big-size multipage labels, plus metronome semi-rotary web control to allow for digital stepless adjustment of printing and converting process length.
The flexo press has been installed at its plant in Varese, northern Italy
Luigi Gandini, administrative director at Rotograf Varese, said: ‘Thanks to its digital flexo technology, [the] M5 guarantees a high-quality performance that can be easily adapted to the different needs of the market. This machine is extremely innovative and nothing else seems to be able to compete with it.’
