According to the company, this was done to ensure manageable and streamlined waste handling at the Südpack plant which resulted in the search for an external partner. A talk with Lundberg Tech convinced Südpack to go for a Lundberg Tech product.

'The WasteTech 200 delivered by Lundberg Tech offered us a reliable solution to fit our needs of trim collection,' said Paul McGhee, department manager at Südpack USA. 'The entire process was quick and easy, and we felt confident and educated when we placed the order. We wanted to avoid constantly having to go to each machine to clean out the waste but wanted to avoid anything loud and bulky that cost a fortune.'

McGhee added: 'We were offered a unit sized for our needs that vacuums and cuts the waste up so the machine operators could focus on non-stop production. The value in the stand-alone system with a continuous TubeBag design made it an easy decision and the Lundberg Tech team has remained active and supportive after the purchase.'
