Identiv expands ultra-miniature HF tag portfolio

Identiv has expanded its ID-Tiny portfolio of ultra-miniaturized HF/NFC inlays and tags, adding eight distinct form factors targeting healthcare, luxury goods, consumer electronics and smart packaging applications where conventional RFID deployment has been impractical due to size constraints.

The ID-Tiny family supports ISO15693 and is compatible with NXP ICODE 3 and STMicroelectronics ST25TV integrated circuits, with label sizes smaller than a pencil eraser. Applications include pharmaceutical vial tracking, surgical instrument monitoring, luxury goods authentication, Digital Product Passport compliance, consumer electronics pairing and personal care product anti-refill protection.

Identiv said the expansion opens new possibilities for connecting physical objects that have historically been too small or irregularly shaped for conventional RFID, enabling smartphone-readable HF/NFC functionality without changing product aesthetics or function.
