JPFL completes ExxonMobil takeover

Jindal Poly Films Limited (JPFL) has completed its acquisition of ExxonMobil’s global BOPP films business, effective October 1.

The deal covers five locations in the US and Europe, with manufacturing locations in Georgia and Oklahoma in the US, ad in Belgium, Italy and The Netherlands in Europe.

The deal for JPFL to takeover the ExxonMobil BOPP films business was agreed earlier this year.

A further office in Luxemburg and a technology center in Rochester, New York are included in the transaction.

JPFL now has an annual BOPP film manufacturing capacity for 445,000 tons, making it one of the biggest manufacturers of flexible packaging films in the world.
