Beontag will showcase the capabilities of its graphic and label materials, as well as its RFID and IoT technology, at Labelexpo Europe 2025.

On the graphic and label materials front, Beontag will present its latest self-adhesive materials, including commodity hot melt products, PET liners and acrylic films, while also unveiling two new launches: a Wash-off Label and ScandArtisan.

Wash-off Label is a semi-permanent acrylic adhesive that ensures strong initial tack while offering wash-off capabilities for HDPE and glass surfaces. Designed for use with paper facestocks, it removes effortlessly in water-based systems, eliminating the need for chemicals or hot water. This label technology enhances sustainability by supporting recycling and container reuse, reducing cleaning process steps and operational costs. With Scandtherm NTC, a thermosensitive wood-free paper, it provides reliable short-term use in clean environments, reinforcing Beontag’s commitment to eco-friendly packaging.

ScandArtisan is a premium paper facestock designed for high-end glass applications such as wines, spirits, oils and jams. Available in two distinct variations, ScandArtisan Trace features embossed lines, delivering an elegant textured finish for enhanced shelf appeal, while ScandArtisan Pure is crafted from pure pulp paper, offering a natural and refined look. Both options ensure high-quality print performance, supporting flexographic, offset and silkscreen printing. ScandArtisan is suitable for brands seeking sophisticated and versatile labeling technology that elevates premium packaging.

Meanwhile, the company’s RFID and IoT technology unit will highlight its expansive product portfolio of UHF RFID, HF/NFC and dual frequency inlays, offering over 80 standard inlays and labels, as well as more than 2,000 customized products that serve a wide variety of segments and applications. Key technologies include the Carrier eWave, a microwave-compliant and washable RFID tag for returnable packaging, and paper-based Eco RFID tags with a reduced carbon footprint.

Erin Bernhardt, Beontag’s vice president of graphic label materials, said: 'We are excited to attend Labelexpo Europe 2025 to highlight how Beontag’s dual focus on graphic and label materials and RFID and IoT solutions drives sustainable innovation across a wide range of sectors. From our new Wash Off and ScandArtisan launches to smart RFID solutions like Carrier eWave and ECO tags, we’re pushing boundaries in recyclability and connectivity. Additionally, we are proud to sponsor Labelexpo’s AWA seminars as a reflection of our commitment to a sustainable future for the industry.'
