The agreement came into effect on September 1 and authorizes UniNet to modify and distribute the line of printers throughout its global network as the iColor 700 and iColor 900. In addition to the sale of these products, UniNet will provide full service and support, and carry stock of the consumables for the label printing equipment.

Designed for in-house production of labels, these roll-to-roll digital printers are used for printing single-pass, die-cut labels on demand, with a media width range of 3-12.9in and lengths up to 1,200ft per roll.

Randy Rickert, iSys Label director, said: ‘As the demand increases for our short- to mid-run label printer line, it’s becoming more crucial for us to work with larger strategic partners to reach end users in a more effective and efficient way.

‘With UniNet’s extensive history in the print industry and established distribution network, we believe it will add a large amount of value throughout the chain and we look forward to creating an even stronger partnership in the near future.’

Joe Dovi, chief operating officer and executive vice-president at UniNet, added: ‘We are so excited to bring on this new line of printers which is a perfect complement to our growing range of iColor printers and services.’
