Learn to think ‘Lean’ for continued payback

With a history of a 10:1 Return On Investment and an average of 126,000 bottom line improvement for its Lean manufacturing programs, Vision in Print will expound the benefits of this technique to UK printers at its fourth annual event.

For this reason, this year’s event - taking place at the Daventry Hotel, Northamptonshire, UK, in June - has been divided into two focused days:


June 28th - Introduction to Lean - a workshop aimed at delegates who wish to learn ‘Lean’ thinking and how it can transform their business. The sessions will give delegates a swift introduction to the principles of Lean in a fun and easy to absorb way and will present them with an insight into how adding value is key to their company’s success. During the workshops attendees will learn to spot waste labour, materials and time, as well as finding out how to use key performance indicators to drive performance improvements, which will make their company more profitable.


June 29th - Sustaining Lean - a seminar aimed at helping companies that have already begun to adopt ‘Lean’ techniques to keep up the momentum, the second day of the event will go a long way to help companies get back on track and implement sustainable improvement. The seminar features keynote presentations from a range of players, mainly from within the printing industry, such as Miles Linney, managing director of the Linney Group, as well as presentations from Richard Gray, managing director of Trinity Mirror, Oldham, UK.
