L&L to host webinar on sustainable forestry certification

Labels & Labeling is hosting a webinar aimed at helping label converters understand sustainable forestry certification programs. The webinar, Understanding FSC and SFI Certification, will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 2.00 CDT.

Key questions to be addressed include: are your customers requesting labels made from paper certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)? Do you have customers asking for the FSC or SFI logo to be printed on their labels? Is your company thinking about becoming certified? What does all of this mean?

Participants will get the chance to put their questions to an expert panel, including Jason Metnick, director market access & product labeling, Sustainable Forestry Initiative; Corey Brinkema, president FSC US Forest Stewardship Council; Warren Werbitt, president & CEO Pazazz Label Printing – an FSC certified printer; and Michael Lyon, Forestry Certification Program manager, Bureau Veritas Certification North America, Inc.
