Anderson & Vreeland to premiere LED exposure unit in Chicago

AVxpose brings UV LED technology to thermal and digital flexo platemaking.

Anderson and Vreeland has announced it will premiere its AVxpose UV LED exposure unit at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago, introducing the system as part of its thermal and digital platemaking process for label printers and converters.

The AVxpose features high-intensity UV LED technology designed to deliver flat top dots without additional consumables, using oxygen-inhibiting exposure at a precise wavelength. The unit includes dual post-exposure and detac combo drawer for post-exposure and light finishing, an airflow cooling system, LED touchscreen controls and PLC interface, with an optional vacuum bed. The LED technology requires no warm-up time and maintains a stable temperature profile throughout operation.
