Autajon acquires Quality Label

French packaging group strengthens Dutch operations with Terschuur-based converter.

The Autajon Group has integrated Quality Label, a Dutch label converter specializing in food-industry applications, thereby expanding its presence in the Netherlands.

Founded in 1997, Quality Label operates from Terschuur and holds BRC certification for its labeling products. The company will continue operations as Autajon Quality Label, maintaining its workforce and production standards.

'I am convinced that the customers and employees of Quality Label will significantly benefit from the integration into the Autajon Group, thanks to access to additional state-of-the-art technologies, high production standards and enhanced innovation capabilities,' commented Fred Vahle of Quality Label.

The acquisition positions Autajon Quality Label near the group's existing Autajon Labels Nederland facility in Utrecht. Autajon Labels Nederland will oversee the transition and ongoing operations of the Terschuur site.

'We are pleased to welcome Quality Label and its teams into the Autajon Group. This integration, in line with our core values, strengthens our presence in the Netherlands and reinforces our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality labeling products to our clients,' stated Gérard Autajon, chairman and CEO of Autajon Group.

'This brings substantial additional production capacity, enabling us to further enhance our flexibility towards the customers of both Autajon Quality Label and Autajon Labels Nederland. Our companies can now act as each other's back-up, ensuring greater delivery reliability for all customers,' added Peter De Vries, managing director of Autajon Labels Nederland.
