Mark Andy extends its pre-owned program
With the recent introduction of second-generation digital presses, Mark Andy has extended its support to converters currently using older machines such as Digital One and Digital Series by expanding its certified rebuilt program.

According to Mark Andy, several Digital One and Digital Series customers are currently upgrading to the next generation of digital hybrid presses. Simultaneously the company is building an inventory of pre-owned machines for converters with a lower budget who will have the opportunity to find a machine that is affordable and suitable for their needs.
The trade-in program is a direct result of an increase in the demand for new technology, as well as increased inquiries for previously owned equipment from leading brands in growing economies.
‘We are all about unlocking new market segments. Our digital program is now at a level of maturity where our customers are not only seeing success, they are continuing their digital journey with us. That allows them to trade-in their existing Mark Andy digital equipment and enables new accounts to enter digital at a more accessible price point,’ said Joe Calmese, chief business officers at Mark Andy Digital.
As with Mark Andy’s existing pre-owned equipment program, all digital presses will be reconditioned to OEM specifications at the company’s US headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Each rebuilt machine will be fully tested and prepared to the same standards as new equipment. These presses will be sold globally by Mark Andy sales representatives and through gb Flexo, its secondary market partner.
‘We’ve partnered with Mark Andy for years on flexo and are excited to extend our business with them into digital as an authorized dealer of their first-generation Digital Ones machines,’ said Scott Waldal, COO at gb Flexo.
Digital One and a 5-color UV inkjet Digital Series are currently available for sale and immediate delivery. Customers purchasing pre-owned digital equipment will receive access to consumables and the same service and support as new installs.
