Multi-Color Corporation buys York Label Group

Multi-Color Corporation has acquired 100% ownership of York Label Group to strengthen its leadership in the Home & Personal Care, Food & Beverage and Wine & Spirit label markets in North America and Chile.  With a combined revenue of $640 million, it will make Multi-Color Corporation the largest label company in the US and the fastest growing worldwide
 
Omaha based York Label Group, which is owned by Adhesion Holdings Inc enjoyed revenues of $240 million in 2010.  This figure included its joint venture in Chile, which is part of the acquisition.  The company is strong in pressure-sensitive label markets for Home & Personal Care, Food & Beverage, Wine & Spirit and Healthcare, serving mostly blue chip national and multi-national customers from its 12 plants across the US, Canada, and Chile.
