AM Labels Limited, the Kettering, UK-based labeling, barcoding and software solution specialist, has introduced a portable four inch pocket printer to its range of printers, scanners and label applicators.

With a high number of field-based and mobile workers in industries such as hospitality, healthcare, retail, and distribution, mobile printers are a necessity for issuing accurate paperwork on demand, such as invoicing and receipts. Recognizing this, AML has sourced a comprehensive range of portable printers suitable for all kinds of industries and applications. The lightweight and compact Woosim printer complements the range with its high functionality and offers mobile employees a pocket-sized, lightweight option for all their printing needs.

Manufactured by Woosim, the PORTI-W25 portable printer is compact and lightweight at just 275.5g, fitting perfectly into a pocket for easy transportation. Ideal for mobile and sales staff, printing is near silent due to the direct thermal printing process, benefiting customers by eliminating distracting or irritating background noise.

Despite its neat size, the Woosim pocket printer is packed with features, including a four-inch print width, clamshell design for easier paper loading, and a rechargeable battery with a typical duration of one hour continuous printing.
A selection of accessories comes as standard, including battery charger and rechargeable battery, interface cable, and roll of paper.

Tony Mariani, MD of AM Labels Limited, commented: ‘We found that for many of our customers that employ field sales staff or for industries where employees spend most of their time on the go, such as hospitality, the majority were lacking a portable printer with high functionality that was easy to carry around with them all day – most are quite heavy and cumbersome. So we sourced this super compact and lightweight model from Woosim, and it has been a great success. It has all the functionality expected of a portable printer, but is almost a quarter of the size smaller and much lighter than many other models.’
