Australia-based Rotary Engineering launches high-speed stacker

Sydney-based Rotary Engineering, a company renowned over the past four decades for its locally designed and manufactured label presses, has launched a high-speed stacker.

The new unit has a reinserting servo-driven infeed unit compatible with most flexo presses which allows pre-printed stock from a digital press to be overprinted in register, spot varnished and laminated then die-cut in register.

The ‘high-speed’ tag is no flight of the imagination, given speeds of up to 150mm with a two-wide format for tag and ticket production can be achieved.

Rotary MD Peter Jessop is quoted as saying that the new stacker’s being able to be fitted to any flexo press or slitter rewinder is a big plus in the event a printer decides at a later stage to move into digital.
