Bemis launches new beverage packaging

Bemis Titan shrink films and labels are designed to enhance beverage packaging quality, efficiency and brand appeal using Bemis’s advanced polyethylene shrink technology.

The Bemis Titan offering includes options designed to help brands differentiate and promote their beverage products, including: shrink film multi-packs with optional handles in various configurations; tight-fitting, high-shrink roll-fed labels; Bemis WavePack corrugate-free multi-packs; and Bemis PerfPack tear-away multi-packs.

Moreover, it said multi-packs made with Bemis Titan shrink films reduce material weight by 50 percent and decrease packaging costs up to 30 percent compared to paperboard.

Packagers can calculate the impact of switching to environmentally responsible printed multi-pack shrink films using the Bemis green calculator found at www.bemisperformancepackaging.com/calc, which forms part of Bemis Performance Packaging's recently relaunched website.

The calculator provides a snapshot of carbon dioxide emission reduction, the number of labor hours saved in material handling and the number of trucks that could be taken off the road by replacing paperboard with lightweight shrink film.
