Color-Logic has launched an upgraded version of its Process Metallic Color System’s Design Suite software.

Mark Geeves, director of sales and marketing, said: ‘Color-Logic has significantly expanded the capability of our Design Suite. New features available to graphic designers include the ability to output separation files specifically tailored for printing on offset, flexographic, digital (HP Indigo, Xeikon and EFI Jetrion), and certain wide format presses. Graphic designers can now prepare cross-media metallic separations for execution using any process desired by their clients.’

The Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System enables printers to produce dramatic metallic special effects on their presses. Printers are encouraged to produce their own proprietary metallic swatchbooks on the substrates their customers most often utilize. These swatchbooks demonstrate the 250 metallic hues available using only five colors on press.
