Cron-ECRM launches Digital Flexo Imager

ColorCert QA reduces time press operators spend maintaining accurate color

Cron-ECRM, a global supplier of high resolution flexo digital imagers, is launching the HDI 400 at Labelexpo Americas 2018. The HDI 400 represents the latest addition to the high-resolution HDI digital flexo imager line.

‘So many label printers have been left behind by not being able to afford expensive digital plate imagers,’ commented Marshall Hogenson, VP America, Cron Flexo Business Unit. ‘Not only are we introducing the HDI 400 at under US$50,000, we are still offering our standard two-year parts warranty. The total cost of ownership of HDI allows every label printer the chance to make their own high resolution plates.’

The HDI 400 images any LAMS flexo plate in sizes from 4in x 4in to 17in x 22in. With Cron’s dual clamp system, tape is never needed to keep the plate in place regardless of size. Resolution on the HDI 400 S version is up to 5080 DPI while the available HDI 400 S+ model offers up to 9600 dpi resolution.

Cron HDI 600, 920, 1200 and 1600 imager accept plates up to 42in x 60in, each priced very affordably with a two-year parts warranty. The new HDI 400 will be displayed in the Cron-ECRM booth 5423.
