DMS Rotary launches unwind and rewind module

Some of its features include a non-contact magnetic eddy current clutch mechanism, constant and adjustable tension control, a 3in (76.2mm) core diameter with pneumatic core holder and a 12in (381mm) roll diameter capacity. The equipment delivers vibration free operation to handle tension sensitive thin films or foils. The system also includes a one to three HP AC motor, depending on press width. It handles roll widths from 1in (25.4mm) to press width and is available for all presses up to 20in (510mm) wide.

The standard module also includes numerous threaded holes so as to enable positioning of the module where needed on the press. Optionally, the system can be mounted to the existing die station, a DMS auxiliary die station or to other areas on the press with a DMS designed mounting tower.
