E + L to launch addition to Nyscan inspection range at Labelexpo

Erhardt + Leimer will launch the latest addition to its Nyscan range of inspection products at Labelexpo Europe. The new Nyscan Light, known as Nyscan LT, is said to be a technically advanced product which includes the company’s TubeLight illumination and is available at a reduced price.

‘Our customers are receiving ever-increasing pressure to reduce costs and yet still have to provide the highest quality,’ said Dr Stephan Krebs, head of E + L’s print inspection business unit. ‘100% inspection systems have always been seen as an essential element to reducing on-line costs and providing increased customer satisfaction, but the capital cost of such systems has proved restrictive for some. Hence we have listened to our existing and potential customers and developed a system that is of the highest technical specification for the investment level required, and we are sure this will help to bring on-press or re-winder inspection into mainstream label printing.’
