GPI invites OEM inquiries for vacuum holddown tables

Manufacturers and others looking for a dedicated source of OEM vacuum tables might consider Graphic Parts International (GPI.), a Chicago-based manufacturer and global supplier that specializes in the production of precision vacuum holddown tables for any flatbed application.
Particularly useful wherever the need for thin substrate or flat component lockdown is essential, GPI vacuum holddown tables are built around an aluminum honeycomb core and covered with thick top and bottom plates for added durability. The table’s sandwich design yields a superior strength-to-weight ratio and provides maximum airflow for effective material holddown. Tables are manufactured using a proprietary Stay-Flat process resulting in a non-oxidizing, anodized aluminum tabletop that resists warping and is extremely flat. For sensitive material and non-conductive applications, Formica and phenolic tabletops are also available. If longevity and appearance are concerns, stainless-steel surfaces can also be ordered. Other options include camera wells for inspection and registration, disappearing guides, lift pins, and blowback systems for careful handling and removal of materials.
GPI also offers resurfacing services to provide like new finish and flatness to your tabletop. Oversized substrates are no problem: GPI claims to produce the world’s largest vacuum table at 10 x 25’ with a 250 sq ft surface of highly controlled holddown.
The maintenance-free vacuum motors that drive the system feature a multi-stage centrifugal design to quickly and quietly provide the proper amount of holddown. In addition to reducing noise, these brushless motors never need lubrication and improve workplace safety because they emit no sparks. Available in a range of configurations to suit various application requirements, each vacuum table is custom built to customer specification at the company’s main production facility and world headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
