Graphi Mecc launches modular variable data printing press

Italy-based Graphi Mecc Group, which specializes in designing and implementing numbering, coding and variable data technologies, launched two machines at Labelexpo Europe.
The Module can be constructed to suit almost any variable data printing requirement. It consists of a series of structural cells, each with a width of one meter. The cells can be linked together in an extensive variety of combinations or added to at a later date if needed. The machine is versatile yet simple for the operator to set up or make changes.
Ranzato Vianello, managing director of GMG, said: ‘The Module permits the optimum management of variable data processes with its modular design being both flexible and adaptable to ensure the best production quality. From the individual needs of our customers, we can build them a completely personalized machine, creating the right solution for a multitude of production requirements.’
The company also launched its EL range of machines designed to satisfy the needs of small to medium variable data processing requirements while maintaining high levels of reliability and quality. It offers a choice of fully automatic management control systems and print technology options that are normally only found on more complex lines.
The EL is available in different versions which differ according to the required production process. The EL 150S and EL 150D offer 100 percent control and, in the case of the EL 150D, 100 percent certification.
