Hop Industries to show durable synthetic paper at Labelexpo

At Labelexpo Americas on stand 1546, Hop Industries will introduce its updated white matte Hop-Syn XT synthetic paper. Hop-Syn XT is aimed at applications for tear, water, UV resistance and temperature resistance outdoors (ranging from -60 deg F up to 230 deg F).

Hop-Syn XT’s bright white, smooth matte finish allows the production of high quality graphics via flexo, offset, screen and by thermal transfer, UV inkjet and laser digital printers. With a micro porous surface that will allow ink to anchor into its surface, Hop-Syn XT is suited to printing tags and labels for both industrial and prime label applications where extreme temperature and durability is required. 

Hop-Syn XT is manufactured with 100 percent tree-free polypropylene resin and inorganic fillers. It is also FDA approved for direct food contact applications. Hop-Syn XT is available in four calipers, .004, .006, .008 and .010 gauge in both 55” and 61” master rolls. Hop Industries offers in-house converting capabilities to custom slit or custom sheet the paper to customer specifications.
