Integrity Industrial Ink Jet Integration has launched a universal inkjet print controller that can be configured to drive up to four printheads from multiple vendors such as Dimatix, Xaar, Kyocera, Toshiba Tec and Konica Minolta.

‘We are very excited to offer this innovative universal print controller to our customers,’ said Rich Baker, president and founder of Integrity. ‘Integrity works in close collaboration with our clients at all steps of their development cycle from project feasibility through system design and implementation. The universal controller allows clients to explore multiple solutions without the unnecessary cost and complexity inherent in purchasing multiple technology-specific development kits.’

Integrity’s base unit includes the ability to drive one head, with additional licenses available for additional heads. Printhead configuration is user changeable for flexibility during ink, printhead and process exploration. Designed for modular integration with conveyors, x-y tables, or use as stand-alone unit, it offers industrial connectors that are rugged enough for multiple change-outs during research and development.

‘We are offering this solution to our clients as a key component in the inkjet application development process,’ Baker continued. ‘This low cost system will not only aid in development, but, once the printhead, fluid, and operating parameters are dialed in, the same technology can be migrated to production, maximizing return on investment for our clients.’
