Iwasaki and Vinsak launch TR3 web offset press

Five panelists moderated the entire event and a flurry of questions from print and label enthusiasts indicated the success of the event.    

 

The webinar presented the new Iwasaki technology of intermittent offset TR3 as well as the IF 330 for producing short-run labels.   

 

Vinsak reported that while the technical presentation was clear and concise about the products on offer, the panel discussion led to interesting interactions with convertors discussing real use cases for the equipment. The discussion also highlighted the pros and cons of this technology against the digital label printing technology.   

 

Vinsak claims that the TR3 press comes with new and improved features for automation, a bigger print area and a small footprint for short-run labels. Convertors who already have flexo presses can use the IF 330 press with existing pre-press, smaller plates, smaller dies without tooling to produce short-run labels.  

 

The company said: ‘The audience appreciated the fact that Iwasaki offers a complete setup for printing as well as converting of the labels. Existing Iwasaki users from India, the Middle East and Europe were excited about the launch of the equipment being highly reliable and a very low cost of maintenance.’
