With counterfeiting costing UK manufacturers billions of pounds per year, there is a growing need for sophisticated and cost-effective solutions. Responding to this demand, PrisymID has recently invested in the latest holographic equipment at its Wokingham facility to further expand its range of hologram labels and offer clients increased security features. Using the latest techniques, the company can produce a variety of customized holographic images incorporating effects such as Spectralock, Securetext, microtext and 2d/3d background.

Suitable for a host of industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, apparel, IT and entertainment, the holograms can be created with varying degrees of security depending on the client’s needs. Combining the latest security features with stylish designs, company logos and sequential numbering, these holograms can ensure products or documents are authentic, secure from counterfeiting and enhance overall brand appeal.

Warren Ward-Stacey, sales director of PrisymID, explains: ‘The risk of counterfeited goods entering the supply chain poses a serious consumer safety issue as well as a financial cost to manufacturers. Our high security holograms, therefore, provide a cost-effective solution offering increased brand and consumer protection as well as tighter control of the supply chain.’

From relatively simple holographic images to complex integrated high security labels, PrisymID is able to print bespoke holograms onto a wide range of substrates including tamper evident and destructible materials. As well as being quick and easy to authenticate, the company’s hologram labels are also an attractive complement to existing product packaging and can reinforce brand identity.
