Reborn unveiled its latest digital die-cutting machine at Labelexpo Europe 2019

This machine is equipped with German company Rexroth’s servo drive system, which makes it steady and easy to operate, said the Chinese manufacturer. The system adopts two sets of four blades, with max 20m/min cutting speed. It features automatic registration and adjusting of the cutting pressure.

When using the system, label converters just need to input their cutting artwork in AI format, without any die tooling. The system can handle different types of label material and shapes, with a maximum thickness of 0.35mm.

Options include high-speed hot stamping, flatbed die-cutting, rotary die-cutting, and a varnishing unit.

Since its launch in March this year, more than 50 units have been sold.

‘This machine is designed for short and medium run production, especially for special shapes,’ said Jacky Zhou, CEO of Reborn. ‘It’s the first time we have shown this machine in Europe, and we look forward to finding new clients and new agents.’
