Siegwerk will exhibit its full portfolio of inks at this year’s Labelexpo Europe on stand 6A17, including the new Sicura LithoNutriEco and Sicura Low Nrgy.
‘We will highlight our expertise in trending topics like shrink sleeves, plastic tubes and laminates, digital printing as well as upcoming requirements from brand owners regarding sustainable ink solutions and how Siegwerk’s product portfolio enables an efficient recycling of printed films,’ said Guido Lander, vice president of business unit for narrow web, EMEA at Siegwerk.
Siegwerk will present its broad range of UV, UV LED and solvent-based inks and special whites for all printing technologies suitable, for sleeves used for non-food and food packaging applications.
During the show, Siegwerk will debut new systems which allow for complete de-inking of printed films as they are used for labels, shrink sleeves and other applications, leading to a complete ‘clean/virgin’ recycling of the transparent film in a later process.
Sicura Low Nrgy UV/UV LED is a newly developed UV/UV LED offset ink with deinking properties said to be comparable to conventional oil-based sheet-fed offset inks.
Stand visitors will be also able to see water- and solvent-based inks which are compostable, and the Sicura Litho NutriEco ink series, which is claimed to be the first low migration UV ink range for cosmetics and food applications. These inks are safe for recycling processes.
