Simec Group, active in the flexo industry for 40 years, will demonstrate a series of new products at Converflex, taking place in Rho-Milan, Italy, March 24-28.

The company will launch Sarlox Gold Sleeves – anilox sleeves, developed for high speed printing, with a new structure allowing for high stability and resistance. Sarlox Gold Extra Light – a version with 60 percent less weight – will also be on display. These rolls are already used in the label industry, are in a pre-launch phase for the flexible packaging industry, and are currently being tested for the corrugated sector.

Profil Multi Purpose, a new version of the company’s vertical cleaning system for anilox sleeves will also be shown, along with Revolver, a vertical anilox cleaning system. The company will also present the new cell configurations of its Leonardo series of laser engravers.

Alongside these launches, Simec will display its existing range of equipment, including its Deltor range of chrome-plated, mechanically engraved rolls; its complete Starlox range of rolls and sleeves; embossing rolls for paper and other substrates; and its Profil cleaning machines for anilox, gravure and embossing rolls.

Emilio Della Torre, managing director of Simec Group, says that the exhibition ‘will allow to the company to establish a new starting point for its own offering and to once more demonstrate that the key products, such as Starlox Gold, are today the best existing solution on the market for sleeve technology. Thanks to co-operation with some important technical partners, we are now able to assure accurate control of production process and particularly of the assembly of different components, everything in our own production plant.’
