Suron unveils flexible die for folding carton applications

Israel-based die manufacturer Suron has launched a flexible die for folding carton applications.

The company says that the new product aims to address the market demand for shorter runs of carton products. Set-up and registration are said to be as easy as mounting a standard flexible die, with no cranes for lifting heavy cylinders and no long set-up of male/female solid dies.

The new ‘Mount & Cut’ die is made from flexible hard steel with high magnetization and features high resistance to erosion and corrosion. It can be run on customers’ standard cutting units.
